Love The Polar Express!! I've been thinking of going to one of the movie theater showings of it, since I have a free ticket that expires this month.

I also like a lot of the old school films, like The Year Without a Santa Claus, A Christmas Carol (particular the Muppets or Mickey Mouse versions), Merry Christmas Charlie Brown, etc.

I know the film is messy and basically every criticism I've read of it is valid, but also, I think it's just a fun story about imperfect people at Christmas time.

- 'Scrooge: A Christmas Carol' (1951) with Alastair Sim or 'A Christmas Carol' (1984) with George C. Scott. I like both versions.

- 'Christmas Vacation' - my favorite part of the 'National Lampoon's Vacation' series.

- 'Scrooged' - I'm a Bill Murray fan, so it's an absolute must.

- 'Gremlins' - On Reddit they're still discussing if it's a Christmas movie at all...

- 'Die Hard' - Don't believe anyone who says it isn't a classic Christmas movie! This is the best classic Christmas movie! Yippee-ki-yay!

- 'Black Christmas' - A pretty good Christmas slasher. But better watch it when the kids are in their beds. There are three versions (1974/2006/2019). My favorite version is the 2006 remake, the original is good too. I don't like the 2019 version.

- 'Violent Night' - I love it!

the Adventurous Adventures of One Direction Xmas special, if it's still up on YouTube... lol ig the YouTuber deleted his channel or something, though, bc I can't find it anymore... :(

but as for movies that even people outside the fandom have seen, definitely The Santa Clause! And I also really want to see the one where they skip Christmas bc their daughter is in the military (peace corps iirc), but then she announces that she's coming home after all. UGHHHHHHH I can't for the life of me remember what it's called! But Tim Allen is one of the stars in it.
