Brain storing memories during this time and plays movies behind your eyes so that you don't get bored while in this creepy comatose state also sometimes you grow when this is happening which also isn't TOTALLY creepy-ALSO APPARENTLY IN THE MORNING YOU ARE 3 CM TALLER

ALSO APPARENTLY IN THE MORNING YOU ARE 3 CM TALLER

That's because of gravity. During the day we are standing up and gravity is pushing our body towards the ground and that force makes us shorter so when you sleep at night you are laying flat and the force isn't affecting your height in that position because you are laying flat so when you wake up in the morning you are taller because over the night your body had time to stretch out from the gravitational force not affecting it so much.

Does that make sense??
