What about it do you like most? I’m mostly wondering because I’ve always heard that the shark fin aspect is just status, because it’s tasteless given that it’s all keratin. So I’m curious if it’s a soup that could eliminate or substitute the fin itself, or if the fin itself adds something that isn’t substitute able.

That’s what I heard too, that the broth is flavorful but the fin is just status. That’s why I felt, and still feel, that it could be just as good without it, and it’s not bad for the shark ofc if you eliminate the fin. But as I’ve never tried it and could only see what randos on the internet say, I wanted to see what your opinion was about it
