What is your country’s Independence Day? (1 Viewer)

[Chaeee]

and what do you do to celebrate?
My country went through a lot of different stages of independence, and there’s no widely celebrated official date of independence here
But i guess the date when we were 100% free from Britain was 18 April

In the US our Independence Day falls on July 4

As for celebrating it, we don't really do much. Maybe we'll have a barbecue, but that's about it

Germany celebrates an Unity Day and it's on October 3rd
It's a holiday and this year it's on a Monday, so I will have a long weekend
