Stand Alone is A Silent Voice, it's definitely emotional masterpiece

Not stand alone would be Madoka Magica: Rebellion.

Your Name, iv watched it the most i think out of all the anime movies (but its only like 2/3 times actually, 4/5 tops). Or maybe Evangelion Re:build but i find it difficult to watch n hold the whole thing in my head at the same time: iv watched 1 n 2 in the cinema when they first came out, then awhile bk the 1st on dvd, n again the first 2 recently but the entire story blends in with the VHS versions of the tv show i watched sooo many yrs ago(which i borrowed from the library, n nvr got to the end-so nvr watched the last however many episodes i missed; also nvr watched the End of Evangelion.)
