He didn’t tho, he was arrogant, and only wanted to carry the ring to feel important; and hard carried by Sam and the others, so it wasn’t everyone hard carrying him bc he was a hobbit, Sam was hard carrying him too

he had no reason to take the ring, he did not have higher willpower or purer intentions than everyone else, he was getting corrupted by the ring at the end too, and it wasn’t fate or anything that said he had to be the one to carry it the entire time

constantly he dragged down the expedition and the mission and the others bc of his arrogance, and inflated sense of self-importance as the ring bearer

you have really a very extreme view on frodo I never considerd him to be arrogant, can you give an example for his arrogance? And yes Sam and the others helped him a lot, I thought that was the entire point of the fellowship

I also do not remember him "taking the ring" as you say it, in the beginning it was given to him by gandalf and then when the fellowship was build, it was decided by the others, that he should keep it
