What kind of coffee beans do you like? (1 Viewer)

Making my second cup of coffee this morning, and picked one of my new bags which says that the specific blend will taste like chocolate, toffee, and toasted almond. I always like to get coffee beans that have interesting notes like this, but I was thinking about my mom who says that coffee beans like that would "ruin" her coffee making appliances. She only gets coffee that hasn't been infused with any flavors and then has a small assortment of coffee syrups she sometimes uses, but mostly doesn't.

Personally, the best at home coffee I've ever had was a local place's seasonal coffee beans, which was chocolate mousse, vanilla, cinnamon, and hazelnut, and it was DELICIOUS. I like being able to change up the taste with every cup without having to dedicate an entire counter to different mix-ins.

Are you a purist, no flavors, or do you like your coffee beans to be infused like me?
