What kind of food do you guys eat for Christmas? (1 Viewer)

Christmas cookies,confetti like cake where it’s like the french tradition. We like to place a little ornament to find in it. Ham,grilled or baked Chickey,Salmon,green beans,Tuna Noodles,Jelly,Cheesy Biscuits,Turkey cx Omg and steamed carrots. I always ask for steamed carrots. We have more. And deviled eggs. Usually our Christmas dinner has more than our thanksgiving

After masterchef australia i have always wanted to taste some pork crackling, but I don't think they sell meat like that here :hmm:

It's like the Christmas and New Years food here, takes hours in the oven to get it proper, and they even made a live stream of a chef cooking it and the viewers getting to watch every single second of it. And then I mean minute by minute for like 6 hours, interspersed with the chef walking you through the things you need to do to make it.

On Christmas Eve, which in my country is called Noche Buena, we have different dishes but these are the most traditional ones:
Roasted Chicken or pork.
Russian Salad.
Pasteles en Hoja, which is like a cousin of mexican Tamales but with plantains or cassava instead of corn.

Rice with pigeon peas.
Pastelon de platanos maduros. Mashed, ripe plantains with meat or chesse or both...

We eat croquettes and some vegetables and chicken/turkey or a variety of meat
as a desert ice cream in the form of a snowman

because I have to study during holidays, I get a variety of appetizers and my glass of wine in my room

Pandan Sticky rice cake: Its honestly so good
Por pia ka prao kai: It's basically spring rolls
Yum ma maung: Green Mango (My fav)

Polish people eat a lot tbh XD
We eat foodies such as beetroot soup, jellied carp (i personally don't like it since i barely eat any type of meat), sour cabbage with mushrooms, poppy seed cake , cheesecake (the best cake ever~), dumplings with cabbage and mushrooms, herring salad,,,

I'm a sweet addict so I eat tons of fudge, chocolate covered coconut & peanut butter. And a lot of Christmas (sugar) cookies.
