What romance or mystery novels would you rec? (1 Viewer)

or I'll even take some romance-tinged mystery! My only requirements are that it:

-has to have a happy ending
-has to have gotten good reviews
-can't be a book that drags on and on and on (I once read a romance novel that took like ten chapters for them to even meet!)
-doesn't have such long chapters that it takes you at least two sittings to read the whole chapter

I really enjoyed Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson. If you end up liking it, there's also a sequel, Everyone on This Train is a Suspect, that's out, and a novella due out this month, Everyone This Christmas Has a Secret.

I can recommend 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder' by Holly Jackson
It's an easy read with a decent mystery/crime to solve and it also has a bit of romance
