What scares you in a horror movie setting? (1 Viewer)

Dolls
I just feel like they’re all haunted and gonna posses me if I look one in the eye. Especially being alone with a doll in the house. Barbie isn’t so innocent either. Who knows when she’ll come to life and tear up your shoes.

[Magician]

probably mirrors, especially when there is a ghost in the mirror behind the actor

For a while same. my friends scared me with the Bloody Mary story when I was 6

[Abeamus]

Hmm nothing really but I tend to enjoy horror movies

[Chiara]

Just horror movies in general, really. lol I guess the things that go bump in the night, like doors that slam shut all of a sudden and creepy shadows.

[Haiku]

Everything
(except clowns, they are funny)

Even Ronald McDonald is scary to me X.x that creepy smile.

Everything considering that I hate horror movies. When I was a kid I used to think the killers in the movies were gonna come out to get me

[athenaaa]

Clowns

[Puddles]

Witches. It sounds dumb but all the horror movies that creep me out the most usually involve witches lol.

[92alice]

Just everything

Dolls.

Also, horror films involving animals (example: Jaws and Anaconda)..., These kinds of movies always give me a jump scare no matter what.

[eclipsoul]

when it's set during the day and not night. like midsommar, that was some weird sh*t

[Soogi]

for me it's not so much the jumpscares or gore but the psychological aspects

[tai]

I really love horror movies, But I guess the realistic ones.. The ones that can actually happen.

But have you seen hocus pocus.
Well actually stealing children to devour their soul is kinda scary ngl

That scene in anaconda being strangled, eaten, then spit back out forever haunts me

Haha, it’s not that sort of witches, more like the sort with weird rituals, possession and demonic elements. I love it, but it freaks me out, like this movie, The Wailing, that’s about a Japanese male witch (a warlock) in rural Korea.
