Who is it

@cosmic

I am guilty. I mostly check the staff application we use for any technical issues or help with some stuff that the admin team needs. I am trying to check daily now, as Vikki does need help with frame applications.

Who is Vikki framing and for what?!

Its @Ahsoka , frames are done manually instead of just clicking a button.

I always thought you just do something simple and it gets added to the pfp

Well, it's kind of my fault. It would have been easier if we used the shop system for frames. Frames were added way before, kind of like a hack job because I knew limited coding.

Can it be upgraded to a simpler system now?

It's possible, but with our skill set, no. Migrating everyone over will probably take a long time, like months of work, and I need someone with good proficiency in PHP to make it work with the shop system if we decide to go that route.

It’s not overly complex but does need code added or altered for each frame request for both light mode and dark mode separately. And also if a single typo is made then you break that mode for everyone So I usually only do it on pc, but I don’t use my pc much these days

I thought you weren't active anymore but well hello

is this why frame requests don't get done as quickly?

I assumed you just take a png frame and place it over the users pfp and make it stick and thats it
