Lyrics rarely offend me. Even if content is problematic, I think it's a useful insight into a state of mind. Then again, I know there's some truly hateful stuff out there, but that's not something I seek out.

As for music itself, I tend to dislike rnb (I can enjoy the more modern stuff like Tinashe or FKA Twigs though), and jazz. The latter is partly the instrumentation, and partly the loose style that characterises it. So to expand, I also dislike loose, jammy or improvisational music. I like things very tightly composed.

Gangsta rap, mumble rap, country rap (FGL was a shining example of this)... basically all genres involving rap. Well, except K-pop, but even then, I can only tolerate so much... no Stray Kids, for example.

I also hate diss tracks with the burning passion of a bajillion suns, especially if it's about someone I love. Eminem absolutely scarred me with Real Slim Shady and every other song of his with diss lyrics. It's made me very sus about new rap songs and their lyrics, like that one NF song that mentions 1D.
