I have about a dozen playlists for various groups and genres, including the all-important Christmas playlist.

There is one playlist that has its own icon on my phone's home screen so I can go straight to it:

On Android phones you can create your own playlist icons by long pressing the Spotify icon. That will pop up a list of your most recently played playlists; select one to create its own icon.

When I used spotify, I used to keep a few playlists that worn out fast and ended up not using them. Usually just shuffled a specific artist discography while adding songs to the queue. I'll need to go back to use spotify to listen to my new stanned group. I cannot rely on youtube for that.
