flipping the switch on @kisshuhua09baby thread and making it a bit more positive! or if you can't answer, what makes your day brighter?

I think probably the time I got noticed by Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys) at a solo show in Detroit last year. It was at a hotel/casino, and my dad and OI had good enough seats that Nick could actually see us (well, us and the other fans in my section lol). He was asking which music format we grew up with, and when he got down to vinyls, I shot up from my seat in excitement (on my DAD's behalf, NOT mine), raised my dad's hand, and screeched, "MY DAD LISTENED TO VINYLS!" (he was born in the '50s), and then Nick's like, "Okay - I see you, I see you!" omg I still remember the euphoria I got from that night. ik it's not really the same as going up and meeting him, but as a VERY longtime BSB and Nick fangirl who would do anything just to get noticed, this was the highlight of my 2024!

27 september 2024 and 22 august 2025 because that's when i got to see my all-time favourite movies on a big screen (these movies are gladiator and lotr: fellowship of the ring respectively). also in retrospect there's also 19 december 2013 because according to my old and dead phone that is when i first turned on the radio station which shaped my musical taste into what it is today (back then i'd record songs off the radio to listen and this was the date of the first recording i made) - not one exciting event in particular but if that never happened i would have had a much less interesting life than i do
