What was the biggest recorded snowfall where you’re from vs biggest recorded snowfall while you lived there? (1 Viewer)

I’m curious how different they’ll be

For me the biggest recorded snow here is about 50 inches (127 ish cm) and biggest recorded while I lived here is 40 in (100 cm approximately).

Note: I didn’t mean cumulative for one winter, I meant snow In one snowfall. But if you do cumulative just put a note that you did cumulative so we know

From my experience >.> it honestly felt like we got a lot of snow every year from my fetus 90s years to 2008ish. Then it was confusing.
But the wooooorst experience. I literally told this to @Day too when she was asking about converse in wet/snow weather
I had to look up the year and it was one of our worst recorded blizzards too (while I'm a being of Earth). 27 inches
The year was 2016 January
And a very dumb fish wore a hoodie and converse to her morning class which was on a different campus from my dorm campus.
You can't walk campus to campus unless you have all the time in the world.
By the time classes finished the snow was just dumping down. Campus buses were delayed. I stood there in my stupid converse (that I still own and survived) and hoodie for 2 HOURS and then the bus came where I stood in wet cold clothes for another 90ISH MINUTES.
I think I had hypothermia because I was shivering for a good 30 hours continuous.

Throughout recorded history 29.7 inches for one 1947 blizzard

idk about total snowfall for a season.

January 2016 one is just a single day. I couldnt find total snowfall. I found a list of worst blizzards and went by that.

idk if it's a record for Cincinnati or what, but when we first moved here from sunny North Carolina, we came in on a massive blizzard - 36 inches of snow! It was so bad that my original school start date was pushed back like two weeks or so. I was supposed to start right after Christmas, but nope!

actually, it was more than just another massive blizzard - there's even a Wiki article about it. And I misremembered, it was 24 inches - but still!

for the highest...14.1 inches (please note that this is only in the mountainous areas near us....it didn't actually happen where i live ;-; bc i don't live up there :/)
while i've been alive (i wasn't able to find anything on the nonmountainous areas T^T)...maybe 2 inches...........joys of living in the south....the snow never sticks
