I think it was either Batman [ '89 ] or Beetlejuice, but I'm leaning more towards Batman.

ETA ~ I think it was Beetlejuice since that was released in '88.

It was the very first installment of The Land Before Time, which came out in theaters in 1988. My preschool class went to see it so many times, and I loved it. Of course, I was only two at the time and couldn't yet grasp the concept of film and TV titles, so I just called it "Little Foot" for one of the characters. lol

i dont think i've even been to the cinemas 8 times in my entire life, meanwhile you went to see the same movie that many times

there was some sale that if you collect some packaging of a chocolate bar for kids you could see the movie at a lower price so i went for it... like i collected them for my classmates that would buy them so i could see singing penguins. that's wild

my theatre has this option that you can buy a pass that lets you see how many movies you want how many times you want for the same price monthly so since i got it i see most movies they play and if i like it i might see it more than once... but my happy feet record has yet to be beaten

My guess is either Mewtwo Strikes Back (Pokemon the First Movie) or Power of One (Pokemon the Movie 2000)

Plus there were only 5 Pokemon films that premiered in theaters in the US
