Watched this video, and tbh i'm shocked how much studios spend on movies and how many they make, expecting for each of them to be billion hitters! Cause realistically that's what they wanna achieve, with a budget of 300-400 million dollars? Not having at least double that is kinda a failure financially.
Also just ... i'm tired of super hero movies, they do nothing for me. They might be action filled but for me it seems like the same old movie every time.

I didn't even know there was a character like that. Well they barely made the budget back, while also having smth like this on their wiki page:
"It went on to debut to $25 million, topping the box office and becoming the first film to dethrone Barbie; "

XD oh i laughed at this so hard.

Anyway, i still stand by the fact that super heroes, altho enjoyable, fun to watch with the family or friends, has a complex universe tying projects together STILL seems stale to me after so many years.
I just wish movie makers eould focus on newer ideas.

Yeah, but if they use it wisely then it's not a problem. Isn't it a win to gain more than the money invested if the movie is loved anyway?
