I was homophobic back then because that's how I was taught. If my child self could see me rn she would be like: "YOU INSANE LESBIAN" lmao

I was a catholic conservative

So i was always scared of comitting a sin
My views on homossexuality were lame till uni too lol

My younger self would probably be disappointed. I didn't meet any of the high (and unrealistic) expectations I set for myself, but that's still okay.

Like, why do you still hate yourself when you've come so far? You did everything your past selves would've wanted you to do

Like so many people said, my younger self would be disappointed to see me today. I am nothing like I imagined I would be. I try not to think about it. Childhood dreams and expectations shouldn’t be a comparative basis with my current life.. Children are rarely aware of the reality of life.
