Believe it or not, I had a feeling it was you when I saw your original name in the New Users list at the bottom of the main page.

You can probably ask a Moderator to close the second account.
And, after the 15 days, you can revert to the original name in the current account while keeping everything you have-- avatar/display picture, signature, and badges.
