&Co. Not just in kpop. I was recommended and article about “Simone Biles & Co and it annoyed me. Yeah she’s the most dominant gymnast but 3 people have to compete per event in a team final and she can’t do it all on her own It just feels to dismissive of the others.

I'm with you! Also when they say, like, "Michael Clifford and his band". Michael was the one who dreamed it up, but that doesn't automatically make it *his* band. All four of them have equal parts. That's why it's called a band. They all do it TOGETHER! If you must talk about MiChAeL aNd HiS bAnD, addrtess them properly - as 5 Seconds of Summer!

and on a related note, when they call bands boybands, es[pecially if it was a boyband who discovered them. I mean, 5SOS don't really care what you call them, but I do. Boybands are a lot different from BAND bands, yanno what I'm saying? Like, if you called, say, Fall Out Boy a boyband, I'm willing to bet you'd getr your ass whooped pretty fast.
