Wrong type of gymnastics. I haven’t gone back to artistic gymnastics, which was the kind I did before. But I’ve been doing rhythmic gymnastics (self taught) for a bit over half a year now. Rhythmic gymnastics involves more tossing and catching things and simpler acrobatics so I don’t have qualms about getting injured again from rhythmic Not at this level at least

was the reason you made the change to rhythmic because of the less chances of getting injured but it's still a form of gymnastics so you can continue doing something you are passionate about?

Yep, exactly. Also it looks pretty cool sometimes And it also has the benefit that the apparatus are all portable (like the hoop, ball, etc) so that’s something that’s easier to self teach. Whereas it’s hard to learn uneven bars for artistic gymnastics on your own because those are expensive and unreasonable to just have in a house.
