Decorating with frosting. I love the videos of people making cupcakes gardens and such! I just don't care quite enough to actually get the tools and invest in figuring out how to do it myself.

I second that. I wanna decorate my own cakes instead of just slapping on some frostng but sometimes you just need those tools to make cute stuff and it's too much of a hassle. And you only use them once a blue moon.

It's one of those skills that it's nice to know someone who knows how to do it, without having to be that person.

Soldering is surprisingly fun! I did it once as part of a "make your own stained glass art" class. (It was literally the only part I was halfway decent at.)

But you're right: knowing how to do that kind of thing in general would be sooooo handy.

writing cringeworthy love stories for teenagers, i'd be set up for life with how that shit is selling in my country like all but one book on the bestseller list in local book stores are wattpad cringe with shit grammar, plot that makes no sense and "quotable" lines which are actually just corny as fuck published only to milk the hell out of middle schoolers who shouldn't even read those due to the NSFW content in it. one day i might make a thread about the most ridiculous plotlines from those books so you all can laugh too i'd write them to no end if i had no sense of shame and if i had skills, because it does take some kind of skill to be unintentionally this bad
