I’m not sure how old I was but the moment I realized that to get a US passport/renew one/whatever in the US, you just had to go to the post office usually. I thought you had to go to the nearest major major city for all passport related things. Which to be fair is accurate for foreign passports, though some might be easier if they have offices in smaller city where you can renew them and stuff. I just never had an American passport until idk, 14 or 15? So my sole experience with passports was making a 8 hour round trip so we could renew stuff, and it didn’t cross my mind that that’s not necessary for most people.

I totally thought this one too! And that teachers had to be single. It was little house on the Prairie's fault for having the teacher live at the school and be single!

This is going to be a strange one. Men have no idea, are embarrassed or afraid of women's periods. I grew up with 2 sisters in a very frank household. I rode my bike to the store/gas station many times as a kid/teen to buy pads/tampons for my sisters never realizing it was supposed to be embarrassing. Maybe this is why I turned out so weird....

Just out of curiosity what did you think when an actor starred in multiple movies/shows? Or did that just not happen with the ones you watched?

Might be more common knowledge in Denmark, but I remember being surprised by how the original H C Andersen version of The Little Mermaid ended.

I never knew the original ending until now Ngl though I’m not sure if the non original ending either, I’m assuming the prince marries her but not positive

I think it did not happen with the ones I watched
My parents always watch this irish soap opera and many of the actors only star in this show

She ended up freindzoned by the prince and she married someone else. Then she had to kill the prince in order to turn into a mermaid again, but she refused to kill him and turned into seafoam.

Oh I know that ending now, I looked up the og plot, I didn’t know the typical versions ending though.
