i don't own a car so the farthest would be when at the age of 11 a classmate's parents offered to take me home from school when there was an event which ended at 6pm when it was already dark outside :wonugl:

How far is the Lake district in England to/from London? Or Birmingham to/from London? I did those by car when i visited/stayed in England in my youth for a short while. Or in Germany from Bonn/Badd Godesburg to a big city Frankfurt, i think. Same timeframe/year/visit/trip to Europe. I loved it there.
