what's the longest you've waited in a traffic jam? (1 Viewer)

about an hour for me. We were coming home from NC when there was a traffic jam bc an RV caught fire right at the VA-WV line (driving towards Princeton, WV). Traffic was backed up, and we were pretty much stop-go-stop for a full hour before we got moving again.

A car was crushed under a truck, I think?
And there were helicopters in the sky monitoring the traffic

And to make matters worse it was a road trip for us that was supposed to take 4 hours, but it ended up being 6

never been there, but I want to go! We were going to go to Bryce Canyon (which is nearby) when we went to Yellowstone, but then we discovered it's a ten-hour drive from there

Aton of people were trying to get to the airport to go to Korea, I almost missed my flight

I don’t know how many hours exactly because it was when I was young, but we got to the place we were going 4-5 hours later than expected so something like that. And to make things even better I threw up and the car overheated and smelled awful, so it probably felt more like 10 hours

we don't usually get heavy traffic in my city but one day as i was coming home from uni (im a commuter), there was a big accident on the road and it took me over an hour to get home. it usually takes me around 20 minutes even during rush hour so it was much longer than usual.

15 minutes?? this thread has made me appreciate living in a city with no big traffic and well functioning public transport because if i were stuck in a car 1+ hour i'd probably go insane wtf

I dont think i have ever been in a really bad traffic jam that would have taken more than 15min
