The rule is meant for “ social acceptability”so for example if your 58
58/2=29+7= 36
or 17/2= 8.5+7 =15.5

The older you get the more room there is for an age gap. But at the end of the day is your choice

I guess it works for most people but I wouldn't imagine myself dating a 2001 liner

For me personally..about 4-6
In general, maybe 10 years? I don't know, some people fit well with older while some fit with those around their age or younger. It depends on the personal preference of each person

I guess it would have to depend on the person and what they prefer. As long as it's not illegal then it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

For me though, there's no way I'd date someone 5 years older than me, let alone 10+ years. It's just a preference of mine.
