People told me that me and my boyfriend would never work bc he's black and I'm mixed (black & white); they also told me that I don't belong and no one would ever make me happy and that I would be better off by myself for the rest of my life

I attempted suicide twice in 7th grade and had to have counseling/anger management in 5-7 grade bc of my rough life before then; that's why I felt worthless but I'm getting better at it bc of my best friend @hoeforvicton and the rest of my friends and my boyfriend; they're my lifeline

It's awful you had to go through that, that's so mean to say. You have great support systems in your best friend and your boyfriend. Cherish them because they cherish you too. That's really painful to hear that a relationship you're happy in won't work out. But the reality is if you make each other happy that's what matters most.

Nobody should ever have to go through what you've been through, but remember how strong you've been to overcome it. People who say mean things are not worth your time, and I know it's easier said than done, but it's good you already have a support system. Lean on them because they do care so much about you

Both are awful to hear Nobody should ever tell someone else to end their life, no matter what. Every life is worth living and people do change. I know it's hard to see but the past doesn't define you, it's who you are now and who you want to become.

3. i got what i deserved (i won't be clear about why i was told this)

but counseling has helped and now i don't even think about those things because they weren't true even though so many people told me it was true

The important thing is what you're doing now to make other people happy. Whoever doesn't see how valuable you are is just blind and dumb. You make me very happy and my face brightens every time I see you; I love you Lexi and I won't ever abandon you because you're one of the few reasons I'm still breathing rn

I had the first one happen to me too, by someone I once called a friend but now he's blocked. I'm so sorry you had to go through that

When I was in high school, I was told to die on a general music forum because I admitted that I listened to Simple Plan (at the time - I don't anymore). I'd thought they were just expressing their opinion at first and maybe they didn't know they were being mean, so I brushed it off and continued to post. Well, they saw me posting in another thread and were like, "DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO DIE?!" Yeah... I deactivated after that.
