When I was in high school, I was told to die on a general music forum because I admitted that I listened to Simple Plan (at the time - I don't anymore). I'd thought they were just expressing their opinion at first and maybe they didn't know they were being mean, so I brushed it off and continued to post. Well, they saw me posting in another thread and were like, "DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO DIE?!" Yeah... I deactivated after that.

That's awful Good for you for deactivating after that. Those words should never be spoken, especially about differing music tastes

No one should be judged for what they enjoy doing/listening to because everyone is unique and different; that's what makes society so interesting. Whoever said that should be banned forever and not allowed on any other forum bc that behavior is not acceptable in our society.

I agree! That's why I only go on forums for specific groups and genres now, because our interests are way less likely to clash.

I know it's not as painful as some other people but it was people mentioning my red face... I think it's ugly on me or whatever and a lot of people point it out :/ A lot of people feel the need to comment on my appearance like a red face or that my hair is ugly up or ugly down. People have also mentioned stuff about my body. Bro I will be laughing and then they will be like "you look like a tomato" or "your face is so red, omg" I HATE IT SO MUCH TT

I bet you’re beautiful/handsome just the way you are. It’s horrible you had to hear those mean comments. Features like that are what make you unique and that’s truly amazing
