I go to reddit to find out kpop news, get help with video games, and watch videos of people icing cookies. Get better, algorithm!!

haha nah, it's bc my trip to Yellowstone was during state political campaigns on TV, and I was watching The Voice there

as i'm a big fan of 80s music, youtube algorithm started pushing me videos where random polish teenagers are meant to guess 80s songs - obviously they fail miserably, but i have no self control so i click on them everytime and get mad even though there's no logical reason why a girl growing up in modern poland should know some guy who had one famous song when the country was still under communism the same way i don't know shit about the things polish teens are into these days. still, hearing the "who???" and "what???" being thrown at my fave songs every time physically pains me and the worst thing? now that i clicked on one of them, they keep showing up more often and i can no longer blame it on the algorithm.

Isn't that the worst?? It's like, I was mildly intrigued once, that doesn't mean I want to see all of them!!

It's kind of like when you google to purchase something, and spend the next six months seeing ads for, idk, trash cans, as if you need THAT many trash cans.

It's just twenty minute videos of people obsessing about tools!! I honestly don't know what triggered it, except once I searched how to drill into tile. Which has nothing to do with woodwork!
