forgive me guys for the long title but anyways just as it says - anyone who's ever had neighbours probably had one that annoyed them to no end and mine was an inspiration for me to write this thread, even if no one reads this i had to get this out of me

so earlier this year, some guy with his girlfriend moved downstairs where i live, at first i was relieved because the family living there previously was very problematic and had police arrive by their door like once a month - but it turned out those guys are WORSE. so, at first - they were knocking at the pipes whenever they heard water running after 10pm - because who'd expect that working people would like to take a shower after they're back home? definitely not his unemployed ass i guess then they gave up on that and chose to torture fellow residents with absolutely jarring, polish rap music that has a homophobic slur or a curse in general like every 0.5 seconds. like a few days ago i was just trying to watch some random polish crime drama with my grandma and suddenly i hear "where is my cult? play the fuck out of this shit, no one told you to stop" blasting from my floor and then some other shit that calls gay people the f-word and says that they should never be legal, and the casual "my p*ssy does this and that" to describe a woman and ever since they've been playing all those vulgar songs for like 10 hours everyday out of their temu-bought speaker because neither of them leave the house. like i sometimes laugh it off thinking how another elderly neighbour we don't like probably suffers more given she lives next wall to this guy, but on a daily basis it makes me want to bang my head against a wall. before they started playing that shit, they were complaining so much about others being loud - like i said, you literally couldn't take a shower at 11pm because the dude would knock on the pipes and yell some nonsense - and yet they cannot practice what they preach because this is the worst noise anyone has ever been making here for as long as the building stands. i mean, are my family and i the quietest people alive? no, especially not when my favourite gameshow comes on. but i don't think that three generations of women singing about a rocking horse and yelling "THAT'S HOW IT WENTTTT!!!" like twice a week warrants such revenge here's a sample of my everyday experience if anyone was interested. ngl i wish i could do something with this situation but i don't want to ever approach the guy as he scares me

I was gonna say I don't have any experiences, but then I remembered my parents (mostly my mother) have been in fist fights with my next door neighbors, among other things. It's not a regular occurrence, though

the neighbord I have rn tbh. they are old and she plays piano. the bad thing is that the apartment have no soundproofing, so u basically hear everything.
2 years ago I made an agreement with her to only play within the week in the morning, so I have my peace when I come from work in the afternoon/evening. she holds to it mostly within the year, but she doesnt when its december/end of november because its christmas time. and her daughter visits over christmas + new years and she sings. so its really loud in december. ecspeciall when I`m home in the last 2 weeks of the year. I also have migrines, and she basically ignores me when I tell her to stop playing when a migrine attack starts.

now I wasted 300€ for noise cancelling headphone and a tablet to use them.

I used to live at a home for the blind/vision impaired, and there used to be a guy on my floor who would bully me incessantly for my 1D obsession. You'd think he was a high school student, but nooooooo he was 23. TWENTY-THREE!!! Thank God he ended up moving to Virginia six months later!
