Other than hiking
Imo it’s false summits. If I’m tired and see the end in sight just to find out the summit is farther (just to find out the “real” summit is after that, ect) that’s just depressing

If it’s in summer the bugs and the heat

if not in summer then worried about steering off to the wrong path and worrying bout the potential snow weather (never been hiking but I’d imagine this is somewhere near accurate)

For the winter part depends on the trail. Even in late spring snow can be thigh deep, even on smaller mountains. In theory if it’s a big well marked trail you’ll probably be fine finding where to go. I’d imagine if it’s super deep snow or if it’s actively heavily snowing or a small less traveled trail it would be harder.
