What's your experience collecting k-pop photocards? (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone! This is a post dedicated to people that collects mainly k-pop photocards
i would like to know about your experience collecting k-pop photocards so far!

When managing your collection...
- which groups do you usually collect? do you collect the entire group, a member, several members?
- do you collect album only photocards? do you also collect pobs? or maybe just photocards that you like?
- how do you organize that in your binder (if any)? do you have any criteria?
- how do you track which photocards you own, what are missing? and your wishlist?
- do you have a seller account? (instagram, vinted, ebay, etc)
- when finding photocards or getting missing photocards, how do you usually get them?
- do you make photocard templates? or at least are you used to consume them?

it would be great that, for each question, you could also add your bad experiences or pain points that you don't like :)
currently, i am running a project called whosyourpoca and I would love to know from you directly so i can gather as much knowledge and understanding possible to cover those things into my project

i Only really collect Stray Kids and got 4 Photo Card holders, one of just Hyunjin, one of the 8SET cards I try to collect, then one for my random cd pulls
but now I got couple of SUGA and ATEEZ ones now but I try to go for just those two but I have manage to collect 10 Ateez cards in the past week so now gotta work on getting one for non stray kid cards :,)

but lately trying to collect Hyunjin cards just from ebay now (it saves money then buying 6 copies of Karma to try and pull him which I had no luck with)

I used to think they were just annoying things that fell out of albums and threw them away until I found out they were worth money. Now I keep them but am to lazy to sell them.

1. So, for me I don't have a set group that I only collect I buy albums of all the groups I listen to because I have a CD player which makes a big difference, because if I didn't I would buy half of the albums I had. The only downside to this is that I lose more money this way because I buy every group I Stan and not just my ults, and I collect the whole group, but if I find a certain PC of my bias I will stop at nothing to trade it
2. I don't go into albums knowing which PC choices there are except for recently with the I've revive comeback and Do It , I do also collect POB because a few of my albums come from target which include POB, but also because buying from Amazon they always include POB, because they're saints Amazon is also cheaper so it's easier to collect pre-order benefits that way
3.When I first organized it I put girls in the front boys in the back, second time I did boy,girl,boy,girl, this time I did a blind choice I held all my PCs up in the air and dropped them oen by one till I had one card left in my hand, whatever group the card was was the first page and then I'd do it again, The only reason I reorganized my binder was because I had too many PCs because the binder only fits 80-100 and I overfilled it doing front and back. This just means I was buying too many albums, so now I HAVE to buy a new binder or my cards can get damaged
4. I track the PCs I own by writing all of them down, the first time I did this I was already 80 cards in and it took me 3 hours to find every card, it's price value, and the name, to keep track of the ones I want I just use PC templates from Pinterest , and I don't really have wishlists I just want really cute PCs or PCs of my bias
5. Yes, I sell photocards but no one has bought any from me yet, though I also haven't been able to update my store either, the last update was December 2025? Or early January I can't remember.
6. To find missing photocards I type in a summary of what it looks like "Sana this is for digipack PC" on googl and it'll take me to the shopping part, and there I can decide the price I would like to buy it for because the prices vary, I also sometimes use this method when Pocamarket prices are too high or too low.
7. I use PC templates but no I don't make them because they're tedious and take too much time I'm into photocards a lot but not to the point that I will hunt photocards down just to put it on a template
