I've always loved the Allosaurus for being the optimal killing machine, it's not the largest predator but still large enough to stand toe-to-toe with almost anything. The slightly smaller size is also compensated for with it's speed and mobility, it's would also make them more efficient pack hunters.

I've also always loved the Pachycephalosaurus because using your head as a battering ram is just bad-ass.

Side-note; while it's not a dinosaur another one of my favorite ancient creatures is the Dunkleosteus, for those who don't know it's a giant fish from the Devonian period (before the dinosaurs) that was covered in armor-plating and had one of the strongest bite-forces ever, it's basically a floating tank with blade like teeth that are part of it's skull.
