I know it's like 90° F outside but good food doesn't play by any rules

My favorite is anything with a cream base - cream of potato is my absolute favorite. Cream of chicken, rice, those are also very good!

If it has a watery base I'm much more picky and I like less soups

Garlic soup. I know what youre thinking but it's really good.

My mom used to make it for me all the time, especially for sick days.
She'd use a specific garlic that was spicier on top of adding chilies. And just for me because I was a stubborn kid, she's add potato chunks
It's so good and clears the nose.
