I don’t hate skits, but the ones that sort of are the whole entire idea around the variety show I don’t like too much tbh. Ateez does this quite often and they generally break out of character and make it more funny but when it gets really serious again I get kinda bored sometimes.
I think my favorite of theirs when they did this idea was with their Parasite parody variety show, they weren’t necessarily playing characters and it was more of them needing to complete a task for each episode while the “owner” of the house disrupts them. They struggled to keep themselves patient with their staff because the staff wasn’t letting them breathe and it was so funny.
