for me as long as the song sounds nice i don’t mind but if they use it during a so called “live performance video” then i feel like i’m getting cheated a little

I like it when live raw vocals can be showcased as well, if autotine is use for most performances then I would find it a bit disappointing plus, I can see auto tune being used, but not being to showcase one's talent shows another thing

I'm the same as you guys. Autotune is okay with actual music as long as it's not overdone, but not with live performances. Then, I feel like I'm being ripped off.

I think many people get autotune wrong. Autotune is like a vocoder, it's used for an effect especially if it's heavy. T-pain's and Charli xcx's use of autotune is meant to be heavy and sound robotic. It's not meant to sound normal. If K-pop group's were using autotune as an effect rather than pitch correction in their live performances than I think I'd appreciate it.

That being said using pitch correction onstage is there to help the idols get through the performance. I don't think that necessarily takes away from the quality of it assuming they're dancing, but I also appreciate it more if the singers sing raw. Just a vocal performance standing there has no excuse: It's very frustrating that 'it's live' in particular uses such shit pitch correction

The arrangements are so great, god bless band covers. But I've stopped watching them cause the pitch correction is way too grating. Such great potential but they fucked it up with one choice.

Anytime. More people need to know the differences between autotune and pitch correction, especially cause I've seen people shit on artists like Charli xcx. She can damn well sing, she needs to be on pitch for her autotune to sound great live.
