What's your opinion on solo stanning? (1 Viewer)

I don't think it's a bad thing, as long as you're not toxic about it and don't bring down the other members.

For me, I only solo stan when the other members don't interest me that much, OR if a member has released solo music I like but I'm not interested in the group as a whole.

I used to be a solo stan and I got a lot of shit for it, but I would say it’s not too bad as long as you’re nice.

If you're a solo stan.

I don't see what's wrong with that. However, solo stans needs to remember to treat all members equally. Also just don't hate any of the members. That's all fine.

But the only problem is that solo stans some attack their other members and nitpick the smallest personality trait or the smallest detail and start arguing about it.

It really ticks me off. But then some solo stans have to fight with the other solo stan for being ridiculously stupid. So they literally fight against themselves.

But I always meet the nicest solo stans who actually praising the other members for their execution on their performance.

So Yeh, I don't respect all solo stans. But I love to see more be nice to each other and don't involve others.

Also solo stans bring a smile to me. Because some Idols who have a less appreciation in the group. They always have someone to protect them. And make themselves feel included. Also they make sure the Idol is alright. Having someone a complete stranger to boost their interest up and lean on whenever they feel down.

So if I see a solo stan being hated for literally being a solo stan. I'm gonna yell at the idiot for being rude to them.

Furthmore, whenever the Idol posts about their music video or solo released on a certain day. They always promote their idol and ensure them they will work harder with everything.

I’m a solo stan for a few idols, so I don’t really see an issue with it. If the other members don’t stand out to me then I’m not gonna force myself to like them. As long as you’re not sending hate to the other members of their group then it’s not a big deal.

I don't see what the big deal is. You can force yourself to like every single member of a group. As long as they not disrespectful.

I personally think it’s ok. So long as you’re not hating on other members or say you're part of the groups fandom.
I Solo Stan myself: Hwasa from MAMAMOO.
But I don’t hate on the others; I don’t mind Solar, Moonbyul or Wheein. I like some of their ot4 songs, actually. I don’t call myself a MOOMOO tho.
So yeah, I think it’s ok to Solo Stan, as long as you don’t bash the others

I don't think it's something that I would do? But like everyone else has said, as long as they're still nice to everyone else in the group, there isn't much of a problem.

I'm okay with it. I think I'm a fan (not a stan) of CLC Sorn and AKB48 Anna Iriyama, but not a fan of their groups. I follow them on yt, so..............

I have several idols i'm solo stan for, but then I usually don't claim to be fan of the group. Like for me i'm then just interested of that one person and fan of them. I migth check their groups stuff out if they are included, but usually i'm not even that into group releases.
