What's your process of purchasing a kpop album? (1 Viewer)

1. do you need to have listened to it first or do you preorder albums?
2. do you pick a version or do you just get a random version if there are more than one?
3. do you buy all versions or just one?
4. what site or place do you get them from?

so for me:
1 listen to it first most of the time
2 pick a version unless i like both
3 just one
4 yesasia and amazon usually, sometimes kpoptown4u

Yeah I have preordered albums before because there was one on sale but that's the only reason I did....and it was the limited edition

1. I don't usually preorder cause I tend to buy older albums that have been around a while, but if I get really into the artist and idea of the album I will give it a go. Usually it has paid off and it's nice to see and hear it first time when it's in yoru hands.

2. I like to get random version, it's nice gamble and usually both versions are nice. And i'm horrible at picking so it's easier for me.

3. Just one.

4. I used to buy from YesAsia and Kpopmart, but since both think 38$ shipping for 12$ album is reasonable I had to find new place. At the moment I have bought from Onnigom which is finnish site and seems to only ship to Finland. And apparently there is romanian online store that has reasonable shipping to EU as well so I will try that out next.

1. if it's Twice or Red Velvet, then I order it before I listen to it. For the other groups I like, I wait if I like at least the title track and see how the packaging looks like
2. i pick the version, if possible
3. if i buy all versions, then only for Twice's albums
4. depends who has the best offers

Dreamcatcher is my number one priority, so I'll get all versions for them.
For other groups:
1. Don't usually preorder.
2. Listen to the whole album first.
3. Pick a version if I can - all versions for Dreamcatcher and Purple Kiss only.
4. Usually order from eBay preowned or sometimes Amazon (for WJSN).

I usually listen to my albums before I buy them, unless I'm buying to complete a set.

1. It depends on the group, I’ve liked all of Ateez’s albums so I’ll usually pre order for them, for other groups I’ll usually just wait and see if I like the majority of the album before I order. I’ll also look at an album unboxing because after BTS’s Map of the soul album it made me more cautious to just preorder because they’re my faves, I want more than just a CD and poster if I’m going to spend that kind of money on it.

3. If I can I’ll buy all, but if not I’ll just put the rest of my wish list for the future
