The answer is not clear cut for me. I knew about kpop on August 2017. I have never considered myself a kpop fan, since for the most part, I stanned only one group. I knew that group on September 2017, I guess. I stanned them on Sep 20, 2018 with an mv released that day, I unstanned them on Feb 18, 2020 or maybe shortly after that date. Right now, I'm unsure on whether or not I still can follow them. I have found myself not caring at all on things I used to strongly care about. I can say however, that kpop in general doesn't bear any interest to me now.

Then in 2016, I listened to i.o.i's very very very and I loved it so much and I didn't know that was Kpop
In 2018, I listened to BTS's dope and my journey as a multi fandom fan started.

Beginning of 2008... Dbsk fascinated me (I saw triangle first, which makes sense as it somwhat link to my jrock visual kei stuff, it was in the YouTube side related videos back then) , SHINee's debut kept me interested... 12 years... Alot of artists and music have come and go...
