when it comes to sad parts in books (1 Viewer)

what do you do? I'm at a sad part in my current book, but it's near the tail end and the ending is supposedly a happy one. Call me a wimp, but when I read sad parts, they tend to ruin my mood for the rest of the day. Should I skim through it? Should I just go straight to the end? I don't want to DNF it bc it's such a good book otherwise!

I liked chorno crusade manga and it was awesome but sad ending.

I give myself a moment to cry and then I push through and finish it. Then I vent to myself about it or someone else who doesn't read so I won't spoil it.

One of my favorite series has an ending that destroys me, but I still absolutely LOVE it.

I don’t mind sad if the ending is happy. Even just sad can be impactful in a positive way
