Suppose someone hasn’t responded to you in a while, how long would it have to be before giving up? Does it depend on who said person is to you (friend, family, an ex, your partner, etc)?​

My best friend sucks at answering messages so I'm used to it and always end up hitting her with a ''are you still breathing? you good?'' lmao but if it's someone who I'm not close with and they keep ghosting me then I simply move on. To be honest, most of the time I even forget we messaged each other in the first place, shows how much I care if someone ghosts me or not...

cause I have this friend and whenever he wouldn't get to reply immediately or vice versa, we'll be like "are you still alive?" lmaoo
but if it's someone I'm not close with and if they keep ghosting me, I wouldn't really care

Even though you might feel like they are either ignoring you or not getting your messages if things are rough your message might be the only thing reminding them someone cares. But, you can't hang on forever. If it's negatively affecting you, maybe you should let go. Do you need a hug @ryba
