little of both. I took it real slow and easy at first bc it was a new forum experience and I didn't know anybody aside from the few KPFers that were here at the time (they all disappeared on me).

at first i was lurking bc i took me quite a while to understand how it all worked but aft the halloween card event i figured everything out and became more active here :)

I actually planned to make just a blog sharing my thoughts on kpop, was losing interest in another site cause of all the fandom fighting, me and a couple of guys like were hanging out in one of the discord server. I had no idea about forums, so i just brought up one quick after a few days of reading and @Ahsoka was like one of the first person who joined and told me that the forum software we were using back then aint going to cut it and i took the site down after it didnt generate enough good feedback, i think i spent like a week redoing the site but i was scared when it started again and @Ahsoka didnt immediately join like before, i think me and the friends i started with the site persevered and kept at it until the first great migration happened, my mail was spammed like nearly a hundred people joining daily until the other site owner did damage control and deleted all threads making the migration happen.

Unlike the rumors that you guys heard, none of our initial staff team was ex staff member of the other forum & none of us were banned.

You brought the user information over from the old site, I wouldn’t have needed to join because I was already a user

I was part of the great migration(first or second wave, depending on if u count the beginning users as first wave or not). I think I just continued as I was at previous forum(s), sometimes lurking, sometimes posting-but main thing was the UI/UX was fathomable=not opaque to me here so it was easier for me to jump into the thick of it here, mostly. U can actually join in n not get bogged down (I think) whereas elsewhere it depends on ur expertise to navigate, or else I only see wat the latest/hottest threads/posts are. Here I can just scroll from page to page of a sub forum n find threads/users/topics I'm interested in to participate in(well when I'm motivated anyway, I lurk mostly except to complete dailys now.) But I'm more active than before I found KS.

I didn't notice that hundreds of users were joining daily at any time. I only saw that user name reached hundreds then 1000s in just a relatively short while. N still climbing(I think)

I think my pov is tat a lot of(or a few or 1 or 2) banned users from the other place were joining here(at least a few like drewb n golden wishes LOL)

I was a pretty active member from the get-go pretty much. @la_mort_pour_vous got me over here and I think I was quite active for a while. It's kinda funny because I was away for so long that I locked myself out of my account and have only been able to lurk for like 2 years now lol.
