Won't it be beneficial for kpop companies to have scouts in Malaysia or Singapore? Like there are many multilingual people in those countries, like a lot are bilingual or even better, trilingual or maybe more. And one of the languages widely spoken in those countries is Mandarin , so they can hit the Chinese market , (and I guess another benefit is that since these countries aren't a part of China they can just not do the one china thingy since it has nothing to do with them) a lot can also speak English which is great for the international market! Plus theoretically they can find the kpop standard visual they want in those countries since a lot of the citizens are of east asian descent so there is a chance they could find a visual. And with the right marketing their group can do great with the benefit of having a Malaysian/Singaporean member be popular in SEA and hopefully China.

Do you guys agree or do you disagree? This is a discussion so I would like to hear your opinions!

Atm China isn't open to kpop groups so I don't think it would be that beneficial to be able to speak Mandarin. Also I think they may have east Asian descent but also South Asian? Which I think is less popular. Sm probably does have scouts though if they're planning on having a South East Asian subunit.
