I was doing my first Duolingo lesson of the day. I had decided to do French. I was just going along and answering since I knew all the questions without needing to think, until I had a moment where I thought “since when do I know this many French words?”. At that point I looked at the questions and realized I was doing Spanish. I just didn’t bother to question it before because I knew the answers easily, and because the alphabet is the same the writing didn’t tick me off that it wasn’t French

I do Spanish on Duolingo
(bc I gave up on japanese and after I learned the Korean alphabet I was done)
Sometimes I do Chinese for fun so I can gain more xp without trying
but it seems I haven't opened duo for more than a month

It’s definitely very different than in English. Sometimes I like it and other times I’m like why do we need words with 10 syllables again?

Oh I took Spanish in school for 5 years and the part I’m currently at in Duolingo Spanish is just review. That’s why it was second naturey, it’s still easy stuff

(again I don't think it was your intention to brag per se my friend since you don't seem like the kind of person to do that but it seems so in practice)
