3rd or 4th row but from the bk cos it was usually by height. Maybe in the middle in the earlier grades.

Depended, if I had friends in the class more in the back if not and I wanted just focus front- but usually one of the sides regardless. Especially if it's next to window :)

I was always at the front sitting on the seat that was closest to the teachers desk. My classes were on the smaller sides too so I was usually the only one sitting at the front so I got to speak out most whenever the teacher asked questions. Luckily that also meant that I always got to do group activities alone. The teachers didn't force me to join a group because they knew I didn't like it

Actually, I remember the second day of eighth grade English, I was running a little late to class, and every seat in the room was taken except for the one in the front and center. lol Everybody knew I needed a front row seat, apparently! (it was only my second year at that school [and in that city and state], so I was quite impressed!)

Before my optometrist figured out my prescription, I sat in the front so I could see the chalkboard. Once I got glasses, I sat in the back unless the seating was alphabetized by last name, in which case I had to sit in the front.
