Meaning you like their writing but are also like “are you okay”?

For me it’s Edgar Allan Poe because I like his stuff, but it’s all like

Spoiler: Spoiler for all his works that I’ve read

-A grieving person that gets mocked by a talking bird
-People who want wishes to come true but it results in grief, tragedy, and necromancy
-A definitely not crazy person killed and dismembered someone because they disliked their eye, but were discovered because they heard his heart beating long after he was dead
-A party where death enters and kills everyone silently
-A person with such a grudge that they lead someone to a wine cellar and locked them in so they would slowly die there
-Someone visits a place where supernatural stuff may or may not happen, including someone who may or may not have come from the dead, and everything literally falls apart

I think the clear answer is he isn’t, I just found the trend amusing

I just picked up The Hellbound Heart, The Scarlet Gospels and Cabal.

There is a show called Fall of the House of Usher, based off Edgar Allan Poe's poems! The Red Death was a really good story and scene there. The actor who played Riley in Midnight Mass was in this show, and I really liked him there, as well as Annabel and Madeline.

I like him too, and was thinking of going to a speakeasy, where they act out his scenes. The drinks and event sound interesting, but I thought I may not like the drink.
