Lesser known boy groups?
Or lesser known girl groups?

Because I honestly can’t tell if there’s less fans in general for either one.

I'd say girl group. It seems like boy groups get fan bases faster and larger than girl groups.

From an outsider's view, I think lesser known male groups because, over the last about 10 years, it seemed like there were more female groups appearing.

Thats why I can’t tell cuz I know more unknown ggs than bgs but I don’t know if its because of me or there are just more girl groups for some reason. Or maybe the unknown boy groups are relatively known by now.

probably ggs, even the biggest ggs rely on gp more than the biggest bgs

also, as an outsider to both, gg fandoms seem to be more...fractured? when compared to bg fandoms where the biggest bgs usually have a lot of fans that aren't multis but aside from them, people seem more open to stanning and seriously supporting several bgs at the same time, including any new bg, idk, I could be wrong

I would like to think that I follow a lot of ggs but that’s just me. From what I’ve seen bg fans seem a bit more dedicated to one or a couple

My thoughts exactly. I feel like lesser known boy groups are lesser known than the lesser known girl groups. At least nugu girl groups have some of the general public hear about them in passing. No one hears about lesser known boy groups pretty much ever, except for their fans.
