Korea has a real misogyny problem it's dealing with right now. I remember that Sooyoung got blamed for "corrupting" Irene because she had read the same book. Interestingly, so did RM, but no one said shit to him about it.

lots of them however it's not really one's job as an idol to be espousing any form of "controversial views"
at least until one is large enough to potentially fend off such hate
that is just self-preservation - it doesn't mean any of the hate is warranted
