We've had some bitter cold where I live recently. Just this week, we had wind chills as low as -30F (-34C).

I try not to travel anywhere colder in the winter months. My state is cold enough as it is!

[uran]

The coldest its been in my city that i remember was -38

[mysteric]

home city would regularly hit -30s, not the coldest around but pretty cold in comparison to most of the world

In my German hometown many years ago. -12 degrees celsius at night time. Now it's 9,5 degrees celsius at 1.45 am. I guess the times of real German winters are gone here.

[Tickita]

I think it was -10

[Ahsoka]

Coldest I’ve experienced at those places or coldest average wise?

Coldest I’ve experienced would be New England, where I live. The coldest I’ve felt is close to -30C (-22F). For places I’ve been I think Moscow Russia has the coldest recorded in winter, but the winter averages of Ottawa and Quebec City are actually colder. With wind chill it can be closer to -40C/F though in New England.
