Which is worse for you?

A kpop fan who won't stan groups because they're too popular or one who won't stan groups because they're too nugu?

Or are they about equally annoying for you

number one is pretentious, number two is shallow. both are just as terrible, but not giving a chance to someone just because they are newbies sounds even worse to me because at least the popular groups do have a big fanbase so another fan is just a drop in the ocean while the other ones need every fan...

I think to dismiss any group based purely on popularity is pretty flop now in saying that there are things that come with being "too nugu" that might deter someone from stanning especially with international fans as subs are a big thing and some people do like to discuss with fans and not being able to find other fans might affect their enjoyment.

the 1st one, the 2nd is understandable since nugu groups usually release less content and some people might not like the fact that if a group doesn't do well enough the next cb they might just never have another one

Fans who wont stan a group cause theyre too mugu are annoying af cause they usually love to flaunt how famous and all that their biases are and fans who only choose to stan groups cause theyre nugu and stanning them makes them feel special are annoying elitists and gatekeep what it is to truly be a fan

Just because a group is nugu, it doesn’t mean their music is going to be bad. Kpop is a genre that’s meant to be explored and to have fun exploring.

I think both are equal. I couldn’t imagine not stanning someone based on popularity alone. I stan based on good music, good chemistry within members, strong choreography, etc.

Both are bad but people who won't stan a nugu group just because they are nugu piss me off. Especially when you talk about your bias in a convo and they go "nugu? who?". Your superiority complex is showing, get that broom out of your arse.

The second is more annoying for me. The first one I can get to an extent but also it can be somewhat annoying.

I think the first one is more annoying. Actually, I'm lowkey guilty of the second one... but LISTEN! Before anybody gives me the chickill or pikagun emoji or what have you, I have a very good reason for it. It's because I just don't want to bother stanning if they're not going to come back for another 29385 years. I already had my heart broken when I found out that Iz*One was a temp group and that Exid would disband shortly after I stanned them, so...
